'Klexikon' is the name of a new wiki. Its goal is to create an encyclopedia for children. The name comes from the German words 'Kinder' and 'Lexikon', children and encyclopedia.

As the wiki was established only on December 1st, 2014, it contains [[:Kategorie:Klexikon-Artikel|relatively few articles]]. But our content is readable and suited for children. In November 2015, we surpassed the mark of 1000 articles. Everyone is invited to join, but a registration is needed.

The Klexikon was found by the journalist Michael Schulte and the historian Ziko van Dijk. It was boosted by the support of Wikimedia Deutschland. WMDE is the association that supports also Wikipedia in Germany. Host of the Klexikon wiki is ZUM, a German association of teachers that already works with several wikis.
